Saichity and Nebbie were very close, her grandfather, Aru, was a story teller before he retired and often told stories that all the hachling listened to, but he was from the Windsweapt plateau and knew many from all over. Saichity's parents were less understanding of her curiosity, but left the hatchling to explore at Nebbie's insistence, saying nothing when her siblings mocked her well out of their grandparents' hearing. Saichity said nothing and bore the bullying with little shows of temper when things became too much, nothing anyone took note of as more than a bad temper. Saichity took comfort in Aru's stories and Nebbie's encouragement and was surprised by her father's, Fury, reluctant encouragement of her curiosity and enjoyed his lessons in fighting, quickly becoming the best out of her siblings. Saichity's enjoyment of brawling gave her a bond with her father that she had never had before and she enjoyed this bond and allowed it to flourish with little effort, she was surprised when he took her to wander the territory with him to talk with her and tried to understand her fasination with the SunBeam Ruins; he didn't entirely understand, but he tried. Years later Saichity had grown a lot into a lovely young adolescent dragoness and although her two brothers, Diro and Sketch, and her sister, Luna, still tormented her and her mother, Charity, was no help as, although she loved all of her children, she wasn't often watching when Diro, Sketch, and Luna would torment her or would gleefully tell their mother Saichity was no Shadow dragon to which their mother would scold them for being cruel, but do nothing else. Saichity often helped her aging grandparents until Nebbie passed away and things got so much worse for the black sheep of the family, Saichity was suddenly very alone as the clan didn't support travel outside of the Tangled woods and Nebbie had been the only one who had really encouraged her curiosity and her want of leaving. Saichity was surprised as her father had been more tolerant of her curiosity before and her grandfather had humored her at least, but she understood the changes grief could bring about and tried to be patient as she worked through her own grief and bore the brunt of her sibling's verbal abuses. |

Saichity was younger than Navani and the elder took the younger under her wing, so to speak, and Saichity was thankful for the guidance and the friendship the elder offered. the place they chose was a defendable spot and made dens and other places for themselves and any potential clan mates or travelers that happened to pass by and need a place to stay for the night or for a period of time. as the clan settled Saichity took to brawling with Navani so the elder could teach her new fighting techniques and that she could practice either on her own or in the training grounds that most clans called the coliseum most often. Saichity took to being a guard for their small clan as well as a brawler and she enjoyed the lessons Navani gave her and the practice she got when the two would tussle. as the clan became more settled and they gained a few permanent clanmates Navani had to put off their tussles in favor of negotiating trade agreements and alliances which Saichity understood and was excited about as her friend when the two would talk at night. As Saichity settled in her new home and in her new position within the clan, she was happy and felt more at home in the bright warmth of the Ruins. Saichity sent word to her grandfather, knowing he would tell her father if he cared to and possibly visit if he went wandering that way as he sometimes did. Saichity took to training with some of the other guards or alone depending on how her temper was fairing, if her temper flared she would go off alone to bleed off her anger on any opponent unfortunate enough to get in her way be it a living, breathing creature or a inanimate object that happens to be in the area. during one of her solo sparring session she found herself with a opponent suddenly, a coral basilisk, which seemed more or less friendly as it sparred with her and by the end of the session she had named the basilisk Topaz and let it follow her back to the clan. Topaz had been her constant companion since they sparred that day and often continue sparring once in awhile, becoming fast friends. Lore By RogueDemon Check out their lore-shop here! |
