BIOGRAPHY


XXXIf there is one thing dragons learn about Tychvaldr, it is that he is a huge prankster. The coral pink Tundra is also known for being sarcastic, kind of rude, and a tad air-headed at times. He has loved pranking other dragons since he was a hatchling. His brothers, Faustanuos and Ahtikrates, would always go along with Tychvaldr's pranks when they were younger. Their most common victim was their friend, Phinidelus. Today, Tych plays his pranks by himself because his brothers are all serious and grown up with no desire to play pranks anymore.

XXXHe has a good relationship with his parents, Toboros and Asopus, and his brothers. Tych doesn't enjoy being around his parents when they get all mushy in public because he finds it embarrassing. But he really does love his parents immensely, as evidenced by his many heated arguments with Romeo the Coatl. Despite Tychvaldr's numerous attempts to get the "Love Guru" to leave his parents alone, Romeo persists in his attempts to study their love.

XXXThough he can be hot headed and rude, Tychvaldr takes his job as a Messenger Apprentice seriously, which is probably a good thing since Tyrith, his Mentor, wouldn't hesitate to fire him from being a Messenger Apprentice otherwise. Because of his thick fur coat, Tych thinks he'd be a good fit as a Messenger to the Southern Icefields, but Tyrith doesn't think he is ready for such a task. The distance is too much for a young, inexperienced dragon to travel in a timely manner. Instead, Tyrith has Tychvaldr practice by flying messages to closer territories so he gains more experience as a Messenger.

XXXTychvaldr's Familiar, a Clouddancer named Featherbee, aids Tych with his job. He is able to take out twice as many messages and parcels when Featherbee helps carry some of the load. The two met in the Tangled Wood during one of Tych's jobs delivering packages. He found the poor Clouddancer being taunted and teased by a pack of tiny Shadow Fae, who had tied up the creature's beak and legs so he couldn't fight back. Tychvaldr, nearly three times the size of the Fae, roared at them and displayed his massive fangs. Startled by the Tundra's sudden appearance, the Fae fled and left the Clouddancer behind. Tych untied the poor critter and told him he'd protect him until his job in the Tangled Woods was finished. However, the Clouddancer refused to leave his side and so Tych let him go home to the Viridian Labyrinth with him. The two have been companions ever since.
