______ Vali joined the Starmire clan after being banished from his former clan, Flamewatcher clan, when a scientific experiment went wrong and destroyed their lair. Luckily, no one was killed, but the recklessness of his actions was enough to warrant exiling Vali from his clan. Amelia took Vali in, giving him a second chance after seeing his brilliance unfold as he invented new things to aid dragonkind, studying the world around him with vast curiousity.

______ Soon after his arrival in Starmire Clan, Vali began learning the art of pyromancy to a fuller extent, being one of the few Flame dragons within the clan. He quickly became a staunch protector of his new clan, taking extra precautions in his experiments to make sure the same fate did not befall him in his new home. Vali met the Coatl, Sahar, and fell in love with her. Together they forged a strong relationship, despite Sahar being an Ice dragon, the exact opposite of him, but as they say, opposites attract.
