Vinvaldr came as a weak, abandoned hatchling that Tyrfing took under his wings and since then he's learned endless patience from his new father, even though Vinvaldr is by nature very energetic and likes a brawl as much as Solveig, the other receiver of his unconditional admiration.

Even the most intimidating dragons don't scare him, he'll even play with Sinmara, who has taught him a lot (not all of which is entirely fair). Incidentally, he is by far the most entertaining hatchling sitter around, you just have to see that he brings them back unharmed...

He was once a guardian, but an accident with the hoard's more dangerous items has left him a bit lighter and feathery-er. He doesn't mind at all, except that now Tyrfing calls him "Fluffwing".
