Data is the clans Archivist and he also deals with Trade documents Treaties Memos etc.
If it's down on paper it's down to Data

He was also the clan's alchemist...That didn't last long
He was just trying to change his genes ...
If you can work out what happened he would be eternally grateful

He is exceptional at maths and he is one of those slightly annoying individuals who can draw a perfect circle or a perfectly straight line freehand all of which means his particular flair is blueprints which living in a lighting clan is a very useful skill
Over the years he has become an expert in the creation of these and often works with other lightning clans as part of this clans trade – he is in fact highly sought after and once nearly got kidnapped by an overenthusiastic definitely insane Coatl (Patience quickly sorted that out)
Because of his talent for blueprints and their shared heritage his is quite friendly with Thranduil and often they will spend long nights with Thranduil tinkering with his creation and Data methodically writing everything down while sipping hot chocolate
Unlike the majority of dragons in this clan Data did not arrive here due to hardship – one of Patience’s … err friends in an ice clan noted as a hatchling Data was a bit of a progeny for maths and was too expressional perhaps for an ice dragon and asked whether Patience’s clan would take him in
Patience is by no means capable of raising a child and in this clan that is done communally however she did take an odd fondness to this chirpy hatchling and became his mother figure in his life they often meet up of a afternoon to have a slice of cake and since she is his mother figure she is very interested in his work on aspects such as treaties and how did that visit to that other clan go and what did you see and what were the dragons like etc. and like a good boy he tells his mother everything
He is a little naive
