Valentina went on an excursion to patrol the territory, and found this poor child trapped in a centaur beastclan cage, being poked and prodded for amusement. Valentina and Caracal helped to bust her out, and promptly carried her back to Canker's Castle. She refused to speak with anyone and never played with the other hatchlings. Ribosome tried very hard to help her and make her feel at home, he dedicated much time to her, despite her cold shoulder. Valentina has also tried to get through to her, thinking it might give her some piece of mind if she learned how to fight. She seemed to take to it, and she grew up to be a most impressive fighter, and even team player, some of the few words dragons have ever heard her say was during team exercises with the other trainees. Ribosome worries that her icy shell might never melt, but Valentina sees a successor to her general position, and has made her her apprentice. Canker sees how she leers at the beastclan familiars, and worries if the wildclaw shares the same bloodlust for revenge that her father Tirpi did. Valentina calls her the 'Black Butterfly' of Canker's Castle, and she hasn't protested to the name.

The serthis Indie knows that Riffah particularly hates beastclans, but she isn't intimidated. She deliberately goes out of her way to prank and steal from her, causing tension to rise as Feiteng tries to earn the trust of the clan members. There has been no emotional difference shown from Riffah, but Pathogen is starting to see two possible deaths for Indie, one of them being much much sooner than the other, and that vision grows more clear everyday.

Though Riffah was quiet and cold, she loved Valentina like the mother she never had. There were those moments when the darkness seemed to swallow her whole, and she would actually confide in Valentina her fears. The general was very sweet and open to Riffah, always providing unending support. Though her stance was intimidating, as time passed the other dragons knew they had nothing to fear from the dark dragon, and most came to appreciate the fighting she does to protect the clan.
When she heard that Valentina's eggs were stolen by Veigo, she set out on her own personal quest to kill the wildclaw herself. It's been a few days since she's dissapeared, and people are getting worried.
