>they travelled for nearly two full weeks until Meretseger found them while on one of her morning patrols
>the clan's area has a force field which creates an optical illusion and practically makes it invisible from outside the shield causing Mahaf and Auqau to almost miss the clan, luckily Meretseger was there just on time to find them
>she brought them to the porter Aau who showed them the way to the centre where they could try to contact their troops but to no avail
>the hospitality that was provided to both of them made them grow fond of the place
>they both liked the serenity that was present in the area
>they had stayed in Tehu Mer-tt for a week until their very troop was guided to the clan to discuss the diplomatic business with Ini-Heret
>their troop was fairly happy to see them but the diplomat was furious at them for causing a setback in their plans
>after they've figured that their vacation was over, they forged a plan to ultimately leave their troop for good
>they consulted Aakhuait on how to get back to the oasis who gave them a map and explained the way to enter the area successfully
>they offered to be on nightwatch that night after the troup had set camp
>the troop fell asleep allowing them to get to work
>they stole a bunch of food, artefacts, weapons and other resources, including several mounts, as well as framing their deaths as if the camp was attacked and ravaged by desert bandits during the night
>when they returned to Tehu Mer-tt, they were officially accepted to the clan by Usir
>Mahaf found love with Aken who showed him how to live carefree and a life he deserved
>now lives on a boat with Aken as a ferryman
>has to frequently wake Aken up when he falls asleep
>remained best friends with Auqau
