    Soft and serene, this coatl prefers to simply watch as the world goes by, instead of actively participating in it. A bit narcotic, one can usually seem him dozing in the sun, asleep on the massive dragon skull, or resting in a shadowed alcove. This carefree and simple lifestyle fits him well, and paired with his optimistic mate, he happily lives his life as each day comes around the corner.

    Yet observing all the time does lead to an excellent perception of what goes around him. If you ever need someone to tell you another dragon's secrets, Ranid is the clan member you need to go to. He'll also often sprout some inane advice, that somehow always makes sense later on, his daily scrying in his crystal ball and tarot cards providing some sense of what is going to happen in the future, even if it's usually unimportant things such as what you're going to eat.

    His mate, Haloru, and himself both gather food for the clan in the Rotrock Rim, but don't expect him to bring back too much- he'd rather watch the butterflies dance around his beloved than catch them.
