    A Wallflower, Rubus tends to shrink into the background, his dark scales helping him blend into the shadows with ease. He highly dislikes attention, as it makes him feel self-conscious over his colouring. Persecuted for it in the past, he is less trusting of his fellow clan member's relaxed nature towards his complexion.

    However, after Quokka noticed his hidden form, her boldness and daring brought him finally out into the light, and through careful cleaning, finally revealed the hidden shine that his hide carried. He started to participate more and is slowly becoming more active in the clan with each passing day. By being less passive, he finally realized that it was his own inaction which really isolated him, and Quokka was just the dragon he needed to allow him to glow. Well, if he still keeps to himself sometimes, it's really his business alone. Baby steps, for now, is fine enough for him. (Eventually, he might even be able to ask Quokka to be his mate!)

    He now utilises his more subdued nature in espionage, finding the cracks in other clan's defences and gathering intel.
