Observations
Report Made By Scitus
The Emperor first appeared out of the Fortress of Ends. There is speculation that it is an ancient Emperor that had been frozen in time in some ancient blizzard and that it eventually thawed and escaped. Of yet, no one can determine the true age of the Emperor.
It has seven heads, none seeming to be decayed at all: the Imperials making up the entire mass likely died at or around the same time. There is also a high probability that the Imperials comprising the monstrosity were all members of a Clan that perished in the harsh winters of the Ice region.
For ease, I've named each head.
-Red: The most prominent dragon comprising the Emperor. Red was named for her distinctive coloration, and seems to make up the largest part of the Emperor's entire mass. She exhibits the most control over the body, with control over roughly half of the front limbs and at least one of the wings.
-Scrap: The second most prominent. Scrap appears to have been an aging, orange male, and is named for his extreme aggression. He exhibits the most aggression, and has been observed biting the other heads. He has maimed the head of the white Imperial to such an extent that part of its spine and skull is exposed. He does not exhibit much control over the body.
-Bone: This one exhibits very few features that define whether it was male or female. Bone was named for the section of bone that were exposed after an infraction with Scrap. Bone exhibits a large amount of control over two of the wings and one of the tails.
-Dusty: This head seems to lag the most, often seen dragging through the snow. Dusty has been observed on at least one occasion biting Scrap, however, and is suspected to be the reason one of Scrap's horns is broken; Dusty seems to be the only one Scrap avoids. He was named for the brownish color of his mane.
-Silk: Silk was named for the scraps of fabric wound around her horns. She was a blue female of Lightning descent. She has control over one wing and most of the tails. She doesn't seem to be particularly "present."
-The Amalgams: Their necks fused together so that the heads cannot move independent of one another, and most of their time seems to be spent "arguing."

The Emperor's trajectory seems to be taking it towards the Frigid Floes.

UPDATE
Red has begun making a strange noise, as though trying to speak, but no one can understand what she is saying. No Emperor has ever displayed such behavior.
Is it possible there's still some brain function?

UPDATE
Red continues to try speaking.
There was another infraction between Dusty and Scrap. It escalated to an alarming degree, and ended when Dusty simply bit Scrap's head off.
A number of dragons trying to fight the Emperor were crushed when Scrap's head dropped. I wonder if they have families.
No time to dwell on it. Science and progress do not halt for grief.
I collected a number of tissue, blood, and saliva samples from Scrap's fallen head. They shall prove most beneficial, I am sure.

UPDATE
The Emperor changed its course and headed into the sea. For a time it seemed like it was a powerful swimmer, and stayed aloft quite well, but eventually its entire mass dragged it down to the bottom of the sea.
I have been circling for days, watching to see if it would resurface, but there has been no sign of life, or whatever semblance of life it is that Emperors possess.
This Emperor has met its end, but I believe it has provided the scientific community with remarkable insight.
I shall return to the Starfall Isles to report my findings.

UPDATE
It has been several months since the Emperor disappeared. I had assumed that when it sank into the sea, that would be the end of it. However, new reports came in reporting a six-headed Emperor matching the description of the Fortress of Ends Emperor, moving north through the Ashfall Waste.
I was skeptical at first, but I rushed to follow it anyways, and, to my surprise, it's the very same!
The Amalgams seemed to have settled into some semblance of peace and no longer bicker with each other. Dusty seems to have become more active, as well. He spends most of his time presenting "prey" to Red (prey, of course, being any dragon who did not escape the path of the Emperor in time}.
If not for the gruesome nature of it, I would find the gesture very sweet.
Red continues her "speech." I believe she is calling out to someone but still her voice is too garbled to be understood.

UPDATE
The Emperor has reached the Sunbeam Ruins and come to a halt in the Sundial Terrace. I am uncertain as to why it has stopped moving.
Red continues to speak, and the words remain unclear, but I am certain that she is calling to someone. She makes the same sound over and over again.
There is a Clan quite nearby, living in an observatory not unlike that in which the Arcanist himself dwells. I've heard whispers of a Light-born Clan of astronomers with their own "Eye of Many Lenses." Could this be them? I think I shall have to see about temporarily joining this Clan while I observe the Emperor.
