Eranthis

Eranthis had spent most of his life alone in the outer regions of the Southern Icefield. Though he longs to live in the wooded area closer to the center of the domain, he has been unable to find space there due to being on his own. Most of the Snowsquall Tundra is meant for large groups, and those with smaller have tended to be outmatched and have left or been forced to leave by particularly rude clans. Thus, Eranthis lives alone in the outer reaches of the Southern Icefield, in an inner part of the Frigid Floes. That is until he stumbled upon Blackthorn shivering and mostly iced over when he was returning to his small lair from collecting plants. He placed her into the thick mane around his neck to try and reheat her tiny, cold form and trudged the short distance left to his lair. He set up a quick fire and set Blackthorn into a cozy faux nest of thick blankets. She awoke and though was disoriented at first, after awhile of her living there anyway decided to stay permanently.

(The name Eranthis refers to the winter aconite, and represents his flight as well as his nature-related aspirations)
