She's beauty and darkness at the same time, and many people wishes to get close to her. The fact that "opposites attract" might be true sometimes, is something she denies and will always deny. She hates herself for falling for Alistair, despite his dangerous reputation.

I was always careful and looked twice over my shoulder. Now I'm more careful but also more spontaneous than ever. His gaze draws me closer to the deceived beauty.
