A lover of literature, poetry and parchment, she departed from her family back in the Sunbeam Ruins for a short-term job as a librarian in the Observatory, hoping to advance her career. She specializes in fiction, and as such she usually serves those who are not working in the academic field, so the books that she sorts are usually fairly removed from the larger sections dedicated to science and study. Naturally, she is a bit of another species when compared to the nerdy scientists.

Although she is usually perceived as an older dragon and her rather formidable bookish air often garners her the respect of one, she is actually quite young; not at all old, and definitely not as dignified as she is often thought to be. A little vain, yes, and at times standoffish, but she has all the airs of a passionate adolescent.

She has very poor eyesight -- the reading glasses she wears make her look uncannily like a stereotypical old librarian, which is, in the eyes of her younger peers in particular, a favorite target of ridicule. Although she no longer has any patience to spare for the teasing, that usually doesn't stop it from going on where she can't hear it and as a result this image of her as an aged and fussy librarian is familiar even to those who have never seen her.

Since the calamity of the observatory, however, nobody really laughs anymore. Like most, she has been struggling with her mental health in light of the disaster but is among those who further isolated themselves in response to the incident, rejecting support. She spends a lot of her time panicking, simply trying to breathe, flitting around in search of not even she knows what. As a bookish, introverted transfer, she really had no friends, and despite her loneliness she doesn't know how to accept the concerned advances of others -- only how to push them away. Though it only reinforces her intense loneliness, a surge of fear rises within her whenever she sees or hears someone trying to approach her from beyond the shelves, and she always flees. Never having been educated about her social anxiety, she can only help but feel ashamed of it.

Books used to comfort her and remind her of home, assuaging her homesickness, but separated from her favorite stories and her cozy study, she feels even more lost and alone. Her only refuge has been found in the tonnes of very strange and unfamiliar books resting in the darkness of the forgotten library; not knowing what else to do, she combs the silent corridors with a candle at her side, peeling ancient tomes from the shelves and trying to decipher them. Her secretly fluttering heart slows as she is distracted, finding herself lost in some other place, some other time. Perhaps the strangest thing she has encountered is the fact that, in this old and forgotten world, she's never quite sure what is fact and what is fiction.

The cerdae pendant was a gift from her mother. It comforts her in her company's darkest hour, heart aching for a point in the future where she can return home.
