Magnacorn’s father was born in a nature clan, and told her many stories of the giant trees, and the plants growing so close together you couldn’t walk between them. As a hatchling in the Shifting Expanse, she was very impressed, and longed to see it for herself. Once she was old enough to go out adventuring, Magnacorn set out to see the Gladekeeper’s domain.

As soon as she saw the mighty redwoods and dense jungle Magnacorn knew she wanted to spend the rest of her life there. She started looking for a lair that would accept her. When the young Ridgeback approached Arkar, Arkar was interested. She had noticed that males outnumbered females in her lair, and the spiky young dragon looked like a powerful addition to her fighting team. Arkar was also interested in Magnacorn’s ability to produce strong sons who could later be exalted to the Gladekeeper.

Arkar welcomed Magnacorn with open arms. The young dragon was made to feel welcome, given a spot for her lair, and Arkar even gave her a webwing that she had caught in the arena. Magnacorn is thrilled with her pet, and hopes to train it to carry messages to her parents someday.
