Although Venefica is extremely quiet and shy, he is well respected within the clan. The leaders chose Venefica as their personal adviser due to his decisive nature and intelligence. Venefica is extremely good at deciding what option will benefit the clan the most and although he is decisive, thinks over his decisions for a few days before giving the clan leaders his final decision, as he wants to make sure what he chooses is right. As the adviser, Venefica is also sometimes given the final say on whether to let a new dragon into the clan.

Very few members of the clan have heard Venefica's voice. He is silent around the clan, preferring to communicate through means other than words. Many dragons in the clan are curious about Venefica's voice, and some even believe him to be mute. There are theories amongst the clan about why Venefica doesn't speak - some believe he was born with a speaking disability, and is only occasionally able to use his voice, while others believe he went through a disturbing and traumatic experience as a hatchling, and has trouble using his voice since. However, no one truly knows the reason behind Venefica's silence.
