Druid
"One Who Loves Nature"
Role: Botanist
(Assists in the identification and collection of helpful plants, and teaches young dragons about the use of all herbs used in the clan.)

"Maybe I should have been mean."

[Origin]
Druid isn't a really pleasant individual. He joined Larka's clan with his mother when they were displaced from their clan after they were overtaken by plague. He proved to be a useful botanist for the clan and soon found a helper in his Familiar companion; a Flower Nymph by the name Molly. Now living in the Lightning desert once again, tending gardens with nature magick is more important than ever. With Larka's convenient dislike for Plague, he believes that it could be advantageous for him and his mother to stay with the clan and help them grow in power.

[History]
Druid is Isodora's fist child since the plague. He was named in honor of the druidess Rinn, Isodora's old mentor.

Isodora was thrilled to have child born in the nature flight. After she failed to turn Farley to her way of thinking, she was determined not to make the same mistake with Druid. Though she was very busy helping Wisp with the day-to-day minutia of running a clan, she made sure to spend as much time with Druid as possible, teaching him all the nature magic she knew. He was a fast learner and soon surpassed his mother.

His mother has told him all about Rinn's plans to convert the Scarred Wastland into verdant meadows while also eradicating the diseases that ran rampant throughout the territory. Rinn had felt as if she were getting close, but hadn't had a chance to perfect her spell. Though devoted to the cause, Isodora hasn't had any luck and hopes that Druid will.

On the surface, Druid seems harmless, if a bit fanatical. But underneath his kind face lurks something sinister. When he heard about the First Seed being unleashed upon the Wasteland, he wondered if it was really a good thing that it had been stopped. But when he mentioned this to his mother, she rebuked him saying that letting the seed spread would have had dire consequences on the world, not just the wasteland. After that he let the idea go. At least... he hasn't mentioned it again.

Druid's primary role (according to Wisp) is to forage for food and help in the gardens if needed. But Druid feels he's much more suited to carrying out priestly duties. But, of course, the only deity he will honor is the Gladekeeper.
