13415.png 		Somerled could be described as a firecracker; he's loud, and full of energy, often startling to others. This often gets him in trouble and is the reason he's covered in gold-- He fell into Kabiri's then current project involving molten gold. After facing the wrath of an angry metalworker, Somerled promised to make it up to her and help her with whatever she asked until he'd repaid her.

While helping her, Somerled began to hang around her forge even when he wasn't needed: he was starting to enjoy the process of metal working, and would curl up in a corner and watch her work. It apparently caught her notice, and Kabiri offered him a position as her apprentice. He eagerly accepted, and dove face first into his training. He aims to keep her trade alive and perhaps surpass her in the future.

Somerled is rarely seen outside the forge, often stoking the fire for Kabiri. The rare time he is out, he is running errands for her or spreading his wings to cool down--He isn't as comfortable in the sweltering heat as Kabiri, quickly dipping into the waters in the territory before heading back to work.
