One can immediately tell that Reine is not a blood kin of Levante, yet she's one of the clan leader's most trusted confidantes. Besides her brilliant purple eyes, characteristic of the Shadow flight, her cream and brown pelt is a stark contrast to any in the clan leader's broods. Indeed, Reine was adopted rather than hatched into the clan.

Tundra dragons don't usually associate with mixed-breed clans such as Levante's, but Reine had been abandoned by her birth parents' clan mere hours after she had hatched. Alone and desperate, she wandered out of the Tangled Wood and eventually found her way into Zephyr Steppes, the clan's first home, where she later collapsed, utterly exhausted. Her sleeping form was discovered by a foraging Kraatos, second-in-command of Levante's clan. The gentle Guardian carried her back to their lair, where Levante agreed (after some coaxing) to take Reine under her wing and raise her with their first brood. The Tundra dragon awoke to fresh food and some curious Fae hatchlings, and has never looked back since.

Reine aspires to repay Levante's kindness by one day becoming her personal guard. She sets out every day to practice hunting, fighting and foraging. Her skill is quickly improving. Her dream may not be so far-fetched after all.
