Faraday is a manic young fae who spends his life constantly chasing the next big discovery. While his peers prefer the wise, ancient arts of magic, from a young age he was enthralled by the wonders of science, technology, and machines. Faraday speaks in a lightning-quick, high pitched technobabble intelligible only to himself, even when there's nobody around to hear. His experiments frequently cause explosions and blackouts, which the rest of the clan has learned to ignore. Faraday himself often describes these things as being "integral to the process of science" and "a learning experience, really, when you get down to it".

Name Origin
Faraday is named for Michael Faraday, an English scientist who contributed to the fields of electromagnetism and electrochemistry. His main discoveries include those of electromagnetic induction, diamagnetism and electrolysis. His inventions of electromagnetic rotary devices formed the foundation of electric motor technology, and it was largely due to his efforts that electricity became practical for use in technology.
