Pearl is the treasure of the lair. The other dragons adore her, she's like a kid sister to most of them. She was rescued from an unsavory situation where she'd rather have been exhaulted than remain there. Luckily, Lattice took it upon himself to bring her along on his journey from home. It remains the only time he has ever touted his status as a royal to get his way. Pearl is full of secrets, she refuses to talk about anything that has happened to her. Ruffle is her sole confidant for the time being, as Ruffle had been there. They experienced something truly terrifying, but they persevered and recovered. Now dear Pearl is quiet, but when she talks she is vibrant and entrancing. Everydragon hangs on her every word, as she spins fantastic tales that rival even Unic's. A nimble, explorative type, she refuses to travel alone. Until Warp came along she hadn't anyone who could keep up with her quick-paced adventures. She had been moving through the reach, climbing and flying equally when she lost track of Ruffle. Panicking, she cried out. A similar cry mimicked hers and she bolted, but something was tailing her. Warp leapt out from behind a crystal formation and they both fell back in surprise, they looked so similar yet they knew they had never met. She felt safe around him, but he had to earn the lair's trust to be around Pearl. Eventually, she had convinced everyone to accept him and they've been happily together since. He keeps her calm during times of stress, and in turn she gives him a reason to remain on the right side of things. Rumor has it she was the child of a prisoner of some conflict, hatched while her mother was away from the nest being interrogated and escaped with Ruffle, who had been slowly sneaking out other prisoners. Nobody knows for sure but Unic, though he'd never tell. |
