Biography
"Who do you think they'll pick?" Saffron tried to keep her voice low, but the eagerness in the question was unmistakable.
Chromia leaned away from her colleague, waving away some of the fluttering butterflies in annoyance. "I don't care, as long as they do it quickly. This is a waste of valuable time."
"I'm surprised the Matriarch finally agreed to let Mystery step down; did you threaten to zap her frogs one too many times?" Adrienri's grin sent a wave of static ruffling through the skydancer's feathers, but she turned her head away without a response, watching Nirya and Castor intently. Though all the representatives had to agree on presenting a new candidate to the Matriarch, the initial pick always went to Light and Shadow, mostly based on their particular...abilities. The two stood slightly ahead of the rest, overlooking the lair's main cavern from a carved balcony.
"There." Nirya extended a graceful claw. "That's the one."
Castor inhaled deeply, eyes closed. "Warm sun...hint of rain...fresh air." She nodded slowly. "This is the one."
The rest of them moved forward almost in unison, craning their necks to see who she was pointing to.
"...him? But he literally just got here! And...he's not even...well...green."
"Since when has that been a requirement?" Iris laughed softly. "I'm curious though...why that one?"
Nirya tilted her head to the side, glancing at her fellow representatives for a moment. No longer able to see through conventional means, the skydancer relied upon a different type of sight, enhanced by the intuition from her gem. She turned her attention back to the newcomer, a remarkably calm Spiral curled around a rock formation, listening to Ajora's usual welcoming threats.
"When I look at him, I see the sky."
Falada is not what most dragons expect when they meet a spiral. He is generally quite calm and thoughtful; not he can't think on his wings or act quickly, but he tends to prefer taking his time making decisions whenever possible.
Though a relatively recent addition to the Tempest Walkers, Falada was quickly embraced as the clan's Wind representative, a responsibility he was glad (if somewhat surprised) to accept. His temperance is clear in both word and deed, and he's quickly become very well thought of among the majority of the clan. He takes his role among the representatives quite seriously, and more often than not winds up being the voice of calming reason in heated discussions between some of the more volatile personalities.
