Charise

The youngest of Colette and Gwyn's offspring, and one of the first offspring born after Gwyn returned home, Charise is the runt of the litter, small and frail. She is too weak to leave the nest so instead she stays in the lair. The twins Cole and Cloudheart bonded with her quickly and although they are technically her 'older' sibling, she worries over them constantly.

She can be found either with her siblings, other younger dragons, or in the company of Narius and Omoi. She firmly believes they are secretly dating.

She is low key jealous of Gwyn and Colette's firstborn, Sunheart, whom resides in Cloudjumper's clan (the clan of Cole and Cloudheart's 'biological' second mother) and his beauty, for he is strong and elegant and she feels she'll never quite compare.

She refers to Colette and Gwyn and her mother and father naturally, but given her sibling's heritage and the deep rooted ties to the clan, she sees Cloudjumper as her 'mother' as well.

The shade plaguing the lair doesn't seem to notice her presence. Little does it know, The extensive study on Rebellion by Colette and Ferid have produced the first offspring in the lair invisible to the shade. As of yet she remains unaware her condition is the result of the experiments to cleanse the lair.

The lair may indeed one day be purged of the shade.


Her dazzling plumage is a gift from her not-mother mother, Cloudjumper. Sunheart of the Gladewinds clan, and Charise's much older brother, is envious of her beauty and does bitterly grumbles whenever she visits. Sunheart also does not approve of his biological father's new 'barbaric' nature since returning. Siblings huh.
