______ Cinnabar is never usually the type of dragon to stand out too much. 'Interesting' and 'Cool' are not words that he hears very often. Though many approach him, not too many stay for long. For others, all it takes is for him to say hi and they walk away. Because of this, Cinnabar is very anti-social and awkward. He tries to talk to others around him, but he usually gets brushed off and ignored. He continues to try though. Seeing as he does not have many friends to speak of, Cinnabar finds himself able to find amusement in the smallest of things. It could be a butterfly flying by and he would be able to express a comment on how strange it flies. Cinnabar carries a book and pen with him no matter where he goes. Every time he has a thought, he will write something down so that he can remember it. He also records the things he sees around him within the clan, sometimes they are important, sometimes they are minimal. Dragons who read his journal would be shocked at how much attention he has paid to the things around him. However, his best days are when his mate Sodalite comes back from her station at the border. As she is a Guard, she will be away for weeks on end only to come back for a couple of days. He loves her very much, and is happy that she is happy. It often amazes him how much she pays attention to him and his writings.

______ Cinnabar is the historian of the Ximbakuta clan. Not only does he keep track of what has happened around the world, he also keeps a history of all the happenings of the clan. Everything that he has seen from when he joined the clan is recorded, and everything before he heard from many of the members of the clan. It keeps him busy so he doesn't have to worry about the fact that not many dragons talk to him.
______ Cinnabar's familiar is a Mirage Puffer he named Arnold. Arnold is his main source of conversation. He will talk with Arnold for hours, almost oblivious to every thing else around him. Only for a short period of course, he still needs to record.
______ Cinnabar was one of the newer dragons to join the clan. Growing up in the Southern icefield, he was often taught to hide his emotions. He however couldn't help smiling and talking and making no effort to hide what he was thinking from others. His father was the one to give him his first Journal, saying that he should write all those loud thoughts down instead of saying them. Perhaps this is another factor contributing to his awkwardness. When Cinnabar became an adult, he left his current clan. He was unhappy with his life and felt like there was something more out there. He tried to talk to others, but he noticed they would always leave quickly or ignore him all together. Cinnabar reasoned they were just busy. Still, he continued to search for a new clan to live in. That was when he met Cloud. Unlike so many of his clanmates, Cinnabar did not meet Cloud at the Trading Post. He actually caught her as she was heading back to the clan. At first they only made small talk, Cinnabar was exilerated to be able to speak so much to another dragon. Then Cloud took interest in asking where he was from, what he was doing. When she heard he was looking for another clan, she asked if he'd like to join hers. He was so happy to talk to someone at last that he accepted without any hesitation.
______ Soon after joining the clan, Flamewreath took an interest in his constant writing. He took the time to talk with him and suggested that since he seemed to love recording what was around him so much, that he would start writing the clan's history. Cinnabar was shocked with being offered such an important job, but he accepted. From then on he would write everything down, no matter how small. He didn't mind as much that no one would really talk to him, he had his work. It was only when the clan gathered at a Feast to welcome some Ambassadors from a rival clan that he really took notice to the dragons around him. He saw that he was sitting next to a pretty and particularly friendly looking Skydancer, so he tried to talk to her. He hadn't realized just how lonely he had been before he began to really talk to her. She amazed him by laughing, taking interest, and not leaving ten seconds into their conversation. In fact, when the Feast ended, they were still talking. He soon found she was a guard, and that she was gone most of the time. But every time she returned she would try and talk to him. He found himself feeling quite fond towards the amazing dragon that actually cared about him. He was over joyed when she asked him to be her mate, and he accepted.
