Gemini

Gemini is a peaceful soul. Well, she looks it. She's always been a serene dragon, even when she was young. As her sister learned power and light, she learned calm and control. Her elegant dress and quiet manner hides quite the intellect, and she often helps various leading clanmates crunch numbers. As her sister soared into fame and power with her voice, Gemini began to feel lonely. She and Virgo had always been each other's closest confidantes, but as Virgo moved up in the miniature social circles and ranks of importance in the clan, she began to leave Gemini alone more. So she turned to others.
She had been having a nice conversation with Gwenna about some unimportant thing or another when she heard, not out loud, but in her head, she's so pretty. She was instantly confused. This kind of thing began to happen more frequently, with all the clan members. Crimson: Nobody likes me. I would be better off dead. No. Pearl wouldn't have wanted that. I have to visit her again soon. Enakai: I need to check the auction house. Wait no, I just did that. I have to check with Sparkles about the dragons who are moving on. Okay, when will Flameforger's happen we need to get back into gathering by then. I miss the purple skydancer. I wonder how she's doing. Back to business.
Gemini realized she could read minds. This kind of thing could put her in jail! But she couldn't help it. Other dragon's most ordinary and mundane thoughts began to drive her mad. They intruded upon her mind. She couldn't think. So she went to the clan's most known and most powerful seer, Secundusa, and she spilled. All of the thoughts, all of the torment, her lack of sleep, her difficulty with keeping a calm facade, everything. Secundusa smiled, something Gemini couldn't remember her ever doing, and put a maroon-wrapped hand on her shoulder. She said it wouldn't get better, but offered to teach her strategies to manage and quiet the voices. Since Secundusa was also a psychic Gemini couldn't read her thoughts, which gave her some relief.
Soon the clan began questioning why she was going to see Secundusa regularly(only in their heads, but Gemini was an expert in what's only in their heads), so Gemini decided to come clean. She told Gwenna, who was famous for passing information around, and within a week the whole clan knew Gemini could read minds. Curiously, they didn't mind, and she soon became a confidante for some of her clanmates' deepest secrets. She kept her calm exterior, however, and regularly applied her strategies to calm, quiet, and organize her mind.
