Dante was born to be a fire dragon. It's just sort of a shame she was born into the Arcane flight.

She didn't leave for quite a while, despite being incredibly prone to emotional outbursts and temper tantrums, mostly because she wasn't aware that the Ashfall Waste was a place where people lived. As soon as she knew, she was there, and fell in with the clan of GiddyExcitement due to its rigorous acceptance procedure of 'oh, you want to join? ...sure why not'.

Dante soon grew restless, eager to see the rest of the Ashfall Waste she hadn't seen growing up in an Arcane flight and set off to see the world. She settled briefly another fire clan - houseBurning, a clan with a penchant for taking in wayward dragons. While there, she picked up a Smoke Gyre familiar she named Vergil, and was bestowed the Wil o' the Ember, making her officially an honorary fire dragon!
