Clay
Clay remembers little of his previous life. Actually he remembers little of most things.
His first clear memory was of being found by Vega while she mapped ley-lines - according to her he was chained in an intersection of lines where surging magic was particularly powerful, but that explanation held little meaning to him. He was just glad to have some company for once.
Once his coatl companion settled into a new clan, Clay saw no reason to continue travelling alone.
Surprisingly, he is quite skilled at keeping things from decaying (things other than his own body, that is), and now works as a tanner.No one seems particularly bothered by his appearance when he can turn any pelt into an exquisite craft, and it’s hard to find fault with the cheerful skydancer who always has a smile and a helpful hand for anyone that crosses his path.
