Piper was born into the Plague lands. A barren diseased landscape with little to no plant life. What plant life there was was sickly and just downright unpleasant looking. Her father had taken her to visit the nature realm when she was only a small Hatchling. Piper Had fallen in love with the lush green landscape, the beautiful colors and the clean crisp air. She had loved the feel of the soft green grass between her little claws. She had felt at home Among all the foliage and flowers, the warm water and the bright sunlight. She had Even learned about gardening and tending to the multitude of flowers and ferns and found the whole experience quit calming. When it came time to return home Piper cursed and fought her father, not wanting to return to the sickly lands of the great mother. No she wanted to live out her days peacefully under the sun stained leaves of the forest. She of course did not have the choice as her father plucked her up and ignored her struggles carrying her back home and away from the lands her young heart had already come to love. As Piper grew she became stronger, she grew to a impressive size and inherited her fathers strength and patience. She still longed for the Nature realm but she threw herself into her studies and learned how to hunt and protect her clan. In her past time she tended to a garden, as well as you could the sickly plants of the plague lands. One day as she was relaxing soaking up what little sun got through the stank air of rot and decay she looked up to see a nature dragon. He was young too be a leader of a clan, but he held his head high as she showed him through her clan mates to Talbot her clans leader. She learned the Dragons name was Peri and he was hoping to gain clan mates who could help him raise his new clan. Piper jumped up with excitement volunteering to go. After much debate she hurried off to her nest and packed a bag. Tears were shed as she said her goodbyes to her parents and brother, but she looked determined as she walked up to Peri. She new starting up the new clan would be challenging, but she would do her best to make her new clan strong! |
