Biography

Tarshala
Purity of the Light
—–
*this dragon is writing in a large tome, using a glowing substance that appears to be her own blood*
—–
Tarshala was one of Araclor's more unusual acquisitions for the Snowsquall Clan; her visions took her to a Nocturne egg buried deep within the Hewn City. The dragon that hatched from this egg was seemingly unremarkable, and grew up under the tutelage of Askarel and Arcrose with the intention of becoming a mediator or diplomat for the clan. And then, as they often do around the Wintergale, things got weird. While accompanying a hunting expedition to learn more about the process, Tarshala was badly bitten by a cobra. The blood that spilled from the wound glowed with Light magic, and a sharp reassessment of her role took place immediately.

Currently studying under Duresco, Tarshala's focus is on researching biological interactions with magic. She is a skilled healer, but specializes in disease rather than physical wounds. Her own body is covered in glowing scars from where she's used her own blood in experiments, or even for more mundane tasks—if questioned, she'll ask why bother to study magic if not to find practical applications for it. Tarshala is actually quite kind and caring if one can get around her unsettling blood magic, and is particularly good friends with most of the clan's Plague dragons, who find such methods much less disturbing than most.
