Marley's always had trouble remembering information found in books and scrolls, though she's always been good at remembering social interactions and dragon's faces. Marley's a very talented mage, but due to her inability to easily absorb written information she typically has to keep some sort of list of spells on her whether recorded in a book or a scroll, lest she forget them.
Marley's way more likely to remember information if she's told it in a one on one conversation with another dragon. Being told information alongside a large group of dragons, in say, a class- simply doesn't work for her.
She's very social, and loves talking to individual dragons or being with large groups. Whenever she's in a large group, she's more of a listener than a talker. She finds comfort in being in the company of other dragons, and gets anxious when she finds herself alone for too long.
