Xyro does not share why he came to the Solar Solar or where he was before. He says merely that all his children but one have gone to serve the deities directly, and likewise all of his grandchildren but one. Both of his parents and all three of his clutchmates are Wildclaws; he was a Tundra when he arrived at the Solar Solar, however.

Jungle Raincatch 		Xyro's taciturnity isn't limited to his past; he says very little more than the Fallbrush Fraud who follows him around does, and the imposter-bear is (as far as anyone knows) actually incapable of speech. Still, he's not unkind, and the Solar Solar's hatchlings (the many, many hatchlings, given the clan's attitude towards homegrown soldier-monks for Glittermom) flock to him for hugs, fur brushing, feather preening, or help with cracking bones for marrow.

He had one nest with Gladys, a trainer of warriors for the Lightweaver: to both of their surprise, one of their three eggs hatched a Wildclaw. His next nesting partner was a Mirror named Feferi, who was impelled by a precognitive dream to flee the Solar Solar the day before their eggs hatched - two Mirror girls, one Tundra boy.

He is opposed to all citanks: he is an anticitank.
