Nacrene

Name derived from "nacre", meaning "pearl".

Word travels fast, especially when traveling by the wind. Impa heard from a friend that another of their friends had a young Pearlcatcher boy looking to see new lands. Intrigued, Impa made the long trek to visit him. There were several others scoping him out, but Impa won over the clan's leader with a promise of gems. And so he found a new home in the Zephyr Steppes. While it seemed he would be alone in missing the Wandering Contagion, that didn't last long. A spiral named Theia soon came along, and the pair reminisce and sometimes fly away from the breezy steppes to stare out at their former wasteland home for an hour before going back. In a way, it's made the transition easier to bear.
