i'll shuck all the light from my skin

Shuck is the first hatchling of the Cloud Brush Clan's leaders, Lofticries and Silkspun. His water flight ancestors left a strong mark on his coloring, though his heart is much more like the wind in terms of personality--carefree, cheerful, and somewhat forgetful.

Silkspun calls him "the greatest song she had ever sung", all full of motherly love. Lofty adores him (Shucky looks just like his momma) and calls him "sea breeze" on occasion.

Shuck grew up alongside many young clan members, such as the adopted fae Picha, tropical-natured Sweet, tigerdancers Quila and Rado, and slobbery Vespers.
