Llyr

Llyr is like a wide deep river. He's reserved and observant, with a stubborn undertow that often surprises others. Llyr is quite intelligent and usually is the first to solve problems and understand all the sides of an issue--however, unless asked, he tends to keep his conclusions to himself. He can be critical of others and too blunt, but this is because of his sincere desire to be the very best he can be. He is mildly sensitive and can hold grudges, nevertheless he is a solid ally.
Few know this but Llyr is literate, and enjoys quietly reading tomes, scrolls and books when he can. He appreciates Airi's care-free outlook, and prefers to relax in the same way; free of structure and with few commitments. When he's not relaxing, he is patrolling the perimeters of the Parched Peak with Reina and Arvid, intently guarding his home and lairmates. He's dedicated to his self-assigned role.
Llyr is on good terms with everyone in the lair, though a little aloof at times. His closest relationships are with Yun, and his daughter Reina. Yun is something of a surrogate mother to Llyr. He got separated from his mother and father when he was young. He likely would have starved had he not crossed paths with the compassionate Yun as she passed through the Windswept Plateau on her way home from the Starfall Isles. She brought the struggling pearl catcher home and cared for him. Llyr looks up to her very much and secretly has a crush on her in spite of their differences in age. Yun's love of the mountain is what fuels Llyr's desire to defend it. Reina is the only one of his offspring who have stayed in the lair, and he loves her deeply.
