My Darling Lavender,
What I have done to you is unforgivable. With our kingdom now at war with that vile being, I regret what had to be done to keep you safe. But it is better if you do not remain here.... If you did, one of King Hades' assassins would have found you. With you gone... you are in no danger. Hades doesn't see you as a threat anymore. You are safe. I'm sorry my love, but we both knew you would stay unless I did what I did.

My heart aches at the thought I may never see you again; that I may never feel your touch or hear your voice again. That I may never be able to tell you how much I love you ever again... for this, I am truly sorry. For the rest of time, this will be my biggest regret... that it had come to this, and that I did what I had to do to keep you safe. Had I been a better ruler, a more peaceful one, perhaps if I had done things differently, we would not be at war with Hel or their demon King. Perhaps we could remain happy together, but.... that is not what happened.

The fate of our kingdom, and possibly this world, is in my hands. I can only pray that we find the strength to defeat the demon king. But at least I can rest assured that you are safe... in exile. I have sent one of my knights, Apollo, to take care of you. He will make sure you are safe and comfortable.

Wait for me, darling. If you will still have me. I will die for my kingdom, however, if we win, and I am to survive.... I will come for you. I will take you as my bride. I will give you everything- and we can build a better world together.
