Cosmos was named after the cosmos flower, which are known to attract butterflies, not unlike her own vibrant colors. When she stays completely still, it isn't uncommon for a few to land on her for a visit - though they must be disappointed to find out that there's no nectar or pollen to be found on her.

While she likes her colourful buddies as well as the other benevolent insects, she doesn't appreciate the pests that occasionally attack her girlfriend's plants. As such, she has taken up entomology as a hobby and specialises in pests and how to get rid of them the most efficiently. On the side, she's also learning to identify butterflies and other bugs that land on her.

Rather fast and nimble, she has also decided to take up the position of an insect catcher, even though she needs to occasionally be reminded that it doesn't quite count if she's just catching whatever can be found near Aquarius and her garden. Her knowledge is appreciated, though, because she is good at both finding insects and prioritising the most nutritious ones.
