Autumn

The Autumn dancer they call her. She twirls in the leaves with old red hand-me-down ribbons, that are tied and wrapped around her and flows loosely off her at the ends. She dances all year but only hosts live performances in the fall. Her biggest act is during the autumn festival. She is in the middle of an opening in the colorful forest. The leaves cover the trees and the ground in great color. It’s at the time of day people call the golden hour. Where the sun is low and casts its golden rays over the land. Leaves fall slowly off the trees as the dancers spin and kick up the leaves in little swirls.
