Orpheus is not the type of dragon to take life's troubles sitting down. Waking up alone one morning in an empty nest, he set out to find some ties to his missing family. His wanderings brought him to the Cloudsong and a not-so-coincidental meeting with his older brother Shrike. Though Shrike did not remain in the clan for long, Orpheus decided that this would be his new home; before the clan leaders knew what was happening, he had found a corner for himself and settled in.

Orpheus is headstrong and determined to a fault. While he lacks the talent and raw power of others in the clan, he has more than enough passion to make up for it.
