Ham denounced his loyalty to Windsinger in favor of Plaguebringer years ago. Having been outcasted from his home due to his sickly appearance, he befriended those loyal to Plaguebringer, even running the clan’s plague temple for a while before Venison joined and he passed it on to her more worthy claws. Despite being trained to utilize his wind magic, he isn’t much of a fighter and only engages in combat to ensure the safety of the clan. The one thing he likes most about his connection to Windsinger is when plague younglings venture into the clan and are in awe of how he can see out of his “infected” eyes. Ham also likes to scare the kids with the story that, due to his anger at Windsinger and his almost death, a part of him more connected with Plaguebringer tends to make an appearance, wanting nothing but death and plague to spread across Sornieth.
