Tactician of the Frozen South
Elder in the Council of the Wise
Loyal mate to Razor
Warrior of the Wavedancers

Ruthless
Cunning
Creative
Born in the Southern Icefield, Tigerclaw left her clan at an early age. She wandered the land for many a moon until one day deciding to journey further than her homeland. See found herself wandering through the Windswept Plateau and eventually ended up in the Sea of a Thousand Currents.

Tired and sore from her many battles with the creatures that lay within the domains she had ventured through she found herself in the company of a Mirror and Tundra who had formed a new lair and welcomed any and all dragons to join them. Gladly taking the invite and healing she assisted Skywing and Wavedancer in defending the lair, rising to prominence on the battlefield where her cunning and creative strategies usually won the day.

Later when the founders of the lair would go to join their deity the Tidelord leaving the lair in the capable hands of their oldest children who had not gone to join the Tidelord themselves, she agreed to help them with their Council of the Wise, a group of older dragons who had been there a long time and had great knowledge. Along with the Regent, Shadow, they would keep the lair going as strong as it had been under Wavedancer and Skywing.

Even when Permafrost and Shyrza decided to rename the lair after their late mother she had no quarrels. It would not be until what she thought was a weakness in Permafrost and Shyrza’s leadership as well as the fact the rest of the Council always sided with the pair that caused her to look upon the lair unfavorably. There were whispered rumors of an ancient evil resurfacing on the world and little could she imagine just how much it would influence her or her mate, Razor. Another dragon from the Southern Icefield who had eventually found his way to the Sea of a Thousand Currents. The two Wildclaws were drawn to each other and became lifelong mates.

He agreed with her that something needed to be done and with the large number of dragons seeking the Wavedancer lair out for training so they could go join the Tidelord she started to seduce a few of them to stay and mate with either other candidates or those in the lair in order to breed offspring strong enough to take down not just the rulers and Regent but also the other members of the Council of the Wise so she could gain control of the Lair.

A plague began to spread in the lair, a sign she took to mean that her plans were the correct path the lair should take. However, when Wavedancer and Skywing returned from the afterlife, powered anew by the spirit of the Tidelord, she knew her little game was in peril. Then when the Gaolers were discovered, sensitive to the Shade, the immortal enemy of all dragonkind, she knew her plan of taking control had failed.

She has returned to her role as a simple fighter for the Lair, a member of the Council and no one has been any the wiser on her machinations. Not even those dragons she had recruited have told on her. Razor has suspected that she was just subtle enough that they never realized they were participants in her mad scheme.

She prefers to assess her prey before outright attacking, wanting to get in the most damage she can with the least amount brought back upon her. She is fierce in battle, though mindful of her surroundings and fellow fighters. She tries to keep those who are not fit for battle far behind the front lines, not wanting to see them get hurt. She does respect the power of the mages and, as of recently, has started to feel the pull, even if she does know she is still one of their better fighters. Thoughts of becoming an alchemist in her spare time has led to more than one argument between Razor and herself, with her mind firmly set and nothing he says able to change it.

She takes great pride in all of her offspring who have decided to join the Tidelord in his everlasting struggles against the other Flights, even though it means going against the Icewarden who rules over the land she had been born in, even though her breed was created in antiquity by the Gladekeeper. She also takes great pride in the strong fighters who stayed behind to help protect the lair as well as challenge head on whatever else might befall the world.

"You can't be serious!"

"Razor, don't start with me," Tigerclaw said as she tapped a claw on the soft grass.

"You were destined to fight, not play with magic," Razor said as he narrowed his ice-blue eyes at his fellow Wildclaw.

"We don't always have to follow the herd, you know," Tigerclaw said as she waved an arm toward the vast fields before them and beyond that the rippling waters of the Tidelord's domain, "did you ever think we'd find ourselves here?"

"If you mean living in the Sea of a Thousand Currents instead of the Southern Icefield, no, I had never dreamed we would change lairs," Razor said.

Tigerclaw nodded. "Even though we grew up in different lairs, we each knew the terrain by heart, just as we had to learn the terrain here, as well as learn to control our element around our new hosts."

"It's not my fault these water dragons are weak to ice," Razor said.

"No," Tigerclaw said as she stretched some, shifting her wings a bit, "it's not your fault or their fault, but, they are our allies and our friends."

Razor said nothing to that and Tigerclaw had to sigh.

"I'm still going to become an alchemist," she said, "even if you don't like it. I feel the call, the pull. I'm not going to ignore it."

"So this isn't something borne out of their prophesies?" Razor asked, "I still don't understand what they see in them anyway. Relying on bits and pieces of words, ideas . . . bah, they should be relying on their strength."

"You forget, the ones who invited us into their lair when they found out we were homeless were a Tundra and Mirror. Two unlikely mates."

That, Razor couldn't deny and Tigerclaw knew it.

"I still think this is wrong . . . but, there is no changing your mind, is there?"

Tigerclaw shook her head. "We've known each other for far, too long," she said, "you should know by now when my mind is set, it's set."

Razor chuckled at that. "Let's go," he said as he began to walk off, glancing over his shoulder at her, "so . . . what kind of stuff would you learn?"

"That, we'll have to see," Tigerclaw said as she followed after her mate, "you know, probably stuff to help heal your sorry hide when you bite off more than you can chew?"

Shaking his head, Razor flared his wings before leaping, taking to the skies.

Tigerclaw laughed as she, too, launched herself into the crystal blue skies, quickly catching up to Razor as they headed back to their den under the Sea of a Thousand Currents.
