Pleasant was never kind. His youth did not teach him to look after others, yet, somehow, when he's seen the pathetic form of Pale shuddering beneath the old bones of a dragon long since departed trying to hide from the light, a sort of protective urge stirred within him. He swaddled her in rags and carried her across the boneyard, caring for her every need until the night when they finally came to meet Bold, and found their new clan.

Since their arrival Pale and Pleasant have set up their own small clan within the territory, Pale being see as an almost holy mother-figure to the unwanted and unwell, and Pleasant a strong, but firm protector.They send out their own children who are well enough to spread the word about them, to tell others where they might find sanctuary, many of them never return.
