Ciana
—Growing Up Rich in Love—

As the caretaker of hatchlings and eggs, Ciana is quite maternal. She treats all young ones as if they were her own. First-time nesters often come to Ciana for advice and she's always happy to share her wisdom. Sometimes to the point that she butts in a little more often than is really needed. But her heart is in the right place and at least she doesn't condescend to the new parents. One of Ciana's favorite projects to do with hatchlings is to maintain a garden. Usually filled with flowers and herbs, this garden has grown quite a bit thanks to all the hatchlings who have planted something. Ciana shows them how to tend for and care for the plants, a skill she firmly believes is important for everyone to know. Even once the hatchling grows up and moves onto other things, Ciana continues to care for their plant. She knows who planted each and every plant. It's not an uncommon sight to see Ciana carrying hatchlings on one hip and a bundle of herbs or even dirt on the other.

• Ciana likes to make bouquets out of the flowers in her garden, which she gives to others on their birthday.
• She prefers to collect all of the eggs into one large nest. This is sometimes distressing to parents but Ciana always knows which eggs belong to who. She doesn't put up a fuss if the parents prefer to keep their eggs close to themselves however.
• Ciana allows the hatchlings to pick what sort of plant they put in the garden. She only has two rules: nothing poisonous (given the perchance of the tiny ones to try and eat them) and no trees. She agrees trees are wonderful but adult trees would overshadow the rest of the garden too much.
• She likes to play in the mud with the little ones. Sometimes she'll make a mudpit specifically for playing in.
• Ciana has a rather husky singing voice. She's usually too embarrassed to sing around other adults except for her mate, Arell, whom she's never embarrassed to do anything with.
