Carnelian

No one in the clan knows where Carnelian came from. Her egg was left at the entrance to the lair one morning, covered in ash and blood. Some of the clan advised that it be discarded, sold to one of the Trader caravans for treasure and gems--or, if it was to be hatched, that the hatchling immediately be sent to serve the Stormcatcher.

But Bloodstone was curious. She knew from the size of the egg that the hatchling inside was likely to be a guardian, and there were so few of her own kind in the lair. She incubated the egg herself, and when the hatchling emerged, clad in Fire's colors and with the Flamecaller's own eyes, Bloodstone ordered that she was to be trained for battle, to help protect the clan from the marauding Beastclans.

She has lately returned from a pilgrimage to the Ashfall Wastes, where she hoped to learn something of her ancestry. While she had no luck in that aspect of her quest, she was able to win the respect of one of the Flamecaller's acolytes, a strange being seemingly composed of lava.
