B I O G R A P H Y

Lovebirds
Hailing from the Gladeveins, lovebird coatls are a nomad tribe known for their wares as well as for their distinct coloring mimicking the birds they are named after.

Due to their nomadic behavior, members of the flock often have different eye colors, depending on the flock’s location at the time of their birth. Rather than nesting in a single location, whenever the group is moving its members will carry their eggs not unlike a Pearlcatcher might when traveling with a hefty pearl.
Coatls born during a border crossing may sometimes end up with mismatched eyes from the magical influences at war, and are deeply respected for their powers – often ending up as leaders or shamans within the flock.

Despite the flock traveling as a single unit throughout Sornieth, members are not kept from settling down or mixing their bloodlines with locals should they wish. Lovebirds thrive in the sharing of their culture and skills, and a stray coatl is seen as an opportunity to visit and learn more about their new home on the group’s future travels.
Maybe due to living in a big community since birth, lovebirds rarely leave the flock alone, instead settling in small families or clusters. Polygamous couples aren’t unheard of, as these coatls will groom and mate as a form of bonding as well as to ensure the continuity of the flock.


Eliza
Eliza is a skilled artisan with stained glass, and the youngest one of the lovebird trio.

While most of her kind thrive within the flock and actively seek out the company of their peers, Eliza is the odd one out, not seeming to mind whenever her craft demands that she have space to think and work.

Despite that, she’s still deeply affectionate with her flockmates and goes out of her way to make sure that they are all together as much as possible (Raden in particular had the hardest time adjusting to the reality that being together 24/7 just isn’t feasible within a large, multi-species clan like their current one)
