Cassio is the Dregs Clan's residential Light Rep- a somewhat pretentious coatl that adorns himself in whatever gold he can scrape together as to show his status quo as one of the hand pick representatives in the lair.
Cassio's old partner, Castielle, sadly left the lair after noticing Cassio's infatuation was more about pushing his worth in the lair up, and not about taking care of her and raising a proper family. Nobody is quite sure where she went, but some say they saw her heading to the icefields to the west.
Now, Cassio sits in his portion of the lair brooding and moping about. Most would call him egotystical, considering how rude and unpleasant he is to the rest of the lair, but when talking to nearby clans and especially negotiating with light dragons and clans alike, he is impeccable at getting his lair what he needs. After all, if he wants to be able to fuel his love for adorning himself in gold, he cannot let his lair fall to pieces.
