Seibold was always an arrogant hatchling – even before he had the charisma to back it up.Growing up in the Heir Apparent's shadow lent him the anonymity to do as he pleased when he pleased. Because of this, Seibold spent a lot of time either off with his friends causing untold hell or quietly observing Dormammu from the shadows. The way the Clan elders surrounded her, as though she were more than the hatchling she was, often left a bitter taste in his maw, and although Dormammu being the Heir Apparent meant nothing was required of Seibold, being the second choice left him raw.

Growing up the second choice for Clan leadership, Seibold had been free to explore at his leisure, and although he loved his freedom, there'd been a certain acerbity about him that the Clan could move, regardless of his presence. For a time, after his parent's deaths, he traveled the world, only returning home to see that his sister – whom he was simultaneously proud of and viciously jealous of – was well.
