Mandarin is an experienced tracker and hunter, and has offered up his services to numerous clans in the past without officially joining their numbers. He crossed paths with Citrina on one of her journey's away from the clan and after traveling with her for some time he decided to return to the clan with her. He still keeps mostly to himself and stays busy hunting and patrolling the territory outside of the clan lair, but he is amiable when he does spend time with the other members of the clan. Tends to accompany Citrina on her trips.

Despite being an Earth dragon, Mandarin prefers to spend his time out under the open sky - running is in fact his favorite pass-time. As he has settled into the clan, some of the hatchlings have started flocking to him as a source of entertainment, and he will often take them out of the large cave system the clan calls home and help them stretch their wings and legs. He's much more relaxed around hatchlings than he is around his fellow grown dragons. 		Secondary Gene: Shimmer
