BIOGRAPHY
As a child, Sweetpea had a best friend, that she never thought she would be separated from. He was a Plague element, and the two were very close, spending as much time together as possible. One day, while exploring the Wandering Contagion together and playing, Sweetpea tripped over one of the many gnarled roots, and into a ditch. She thought she had come out fine, it was only a small cut. Naive she has always been. The cut, however small, allowed a horrible contagion to enter her bloodstream. She fell deathly ill. Her feathers, that she had once loved so dearly, now bleaching white before her eyes.
Her single mother, frightened of ever losing her, banned her from ever setting foot near the Scarred Wasteland again, and prevented her best friend from seeing her, blaming him for bringing her to a dangerous location in the first place. Sweetpea was lucky. She survived. But her feathers were forever bleached in patches. It was in her late teenhood that Sweetpea saved up enough money to buy herself a breed scroll. She was tired of the stigma surrounding being a coatl with white feathers. Unable to say goodbye to them forever, she chose to become a skydancer. Now, she could finally move past her bleaching. She had tried to reconnect with her friend, but never found him again. She moved into her adulthood in a caretaking job. She was a simple nurse, very little medical knowledge, but useful for providing help and support to those who needed it. The near-death of Ambassador Liefa is what sparked a change. The unsteady armistice between the Plague and Nature flight was falling apart, war on the horizon, but Sweetpea was certain it was an accident or some kind of misunderstanding. Remembering how sweet her old childhood friend had been, she was sure that no Plague dragon could be evil enough to do this on purpose. But, of course, nobody would take her seriously. She was well known for being naive. So, determined to prove herself right, she set out to travel all the way to the Wyrmwound, where the ancient lair that had housed the Ambassador was located. But, in her haste and naivety, she had misjudged just how rough the journey would be. The Abiding Boneyard was long and empty, and she struggled to scavenge for food and hide or flee from beasts. Exhausted, and starting to lose hope, she was discovered by a travelling family of snappers, who helped her along to a clan they were travelling to. The clan of Neverspine. So here she is now, resting and gathering her bearings before she sets out again. This time, she will be better prepared for the journey, and hopefully will find some allies to bring with her.
