Biography

Uh-oh, looks like this handsome lad wandered a little too far from his home lair (sleepyboi #525787), and now he's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, he'd really appreciate it if you could just return him to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but he would be very grateful!

Journal

Entry One: Washington's travels brought him to The Shifting Expanse, where he spent a while exploring the dunes and mountains. He met a few dragons along the way, who were kind enough to give him some supplies to eat on his adventures in Lightning territory. But soon, it was time for him to move on. While the Skydancer enjoyed his brief visit, it wasn't the place for him, so he set off on another (hopefully) exciting adventure.

---

Entry Two: Washington's next stop brought him to the Viridian Labyrinth. The Midnight Forest Clan seemed kind and gladly offered him a place to stop and rest for a few weeks. He learnt a lot about foraging and hunting whilst with the clan and left armed with some new skills and abilities.

---

Entry Three: Washington's third stop on his exhausting journey was a rest stop of sorts. He sat there all day, taking a break from his travels. Once he was rell-rested, he traveled to the Tangled Wood. The shadowy trees pressed in on him, whispering secrets and warnings. He shivered, pulling his wings in closer. He stumbled upon a patch of glowing mushrooms, which were both beautiful and kind of creepy at the same time. Washington was so distracted by the mushrooms that he didn't see where the ground fell away, and he crashed to the ground with a yelp. He winced when he tried to stand, sharp pains stabbing his foot. Seems like I'll be stuck here for a while, he thought nervously. He lay back down with a sigh, glancing around for anything edible within grabbing range. Some berries lay on a nearby bush, and a tasty-looking insect scurried by just out of his reach and sat there as if taunting him. He snarled, creeping closer as fast and as quietly as possible. Which wasn't very fast or very quiet. It was so loud, in fact, that he didn't hear the sound of two hatchlings crashing through the bushes towards him.
"Woah, what ARE you?" a tiny voice asked, voice filled with wonder. He twisted his head around, baring his fangs, and saw two small mirror hatchlings. One had purple scales and pale purple wings. She stared at him curiously yet cautiously, tipping her head slightly. The other was the one who spoke. She had wild, pale lavender eyes, light blue scales, and light gray wings. This hatchling was bouncing with excitement, and stared at him a peculiar way, her ears flicking and her eyes unfocused as if she were listening and watching something far away. "Aqua!" hissed the calmer hatchling. "The polite thing to ask is WHO are you. And you don't just leap around and jump AT strange noises like that! At the very least, we should've stayed in the bushes for a while then reported back to Mother!" Aqua frowned at her sister. "Come ON, Violet, is ANY part of you fun? Aren't you EXCITED? We found a new dragon friend!" Violet sighed and shook her head, then took a careful step towards Washington. Based on her posture and the energies radiating from her, he guessed she was only about 0.01% excited. "So. I'm guessing you aren't super murderous. In which case, I suppose I can take you back to our clan. My name is Violet, by the way, in case you couldn't tell." Washington lifted his head, staring into the tiny dragon's eyes. "Well, I would come with you, but I injured my ankle and I can't get up." She nodded. "Alright, we'll be right back. I would leave Aqua with you, but just in case. And I can't send her to the clan's lair because she'll get lost following a cute little mouse." Aqua glared at the back of Violet's head, but she didn't seem to notice. Washington nodded, only realizing after the two young hatchlings had left that he hadn't told either of them his name.
Several minutes later, Aqua and Violet returned with a large, graceful mirror dragon. She had deep green scales and had pale wings only slightly lighter than Aqua's. "Hello," the new dragon said. "My name is Willow. And you are?" She tipped her head, seeming more bored than anything. He began to wonder if dragons like him stumbled upon the clan all the time, or if she was worn out from dealing with the two siblings. "Washington," he said. "I come from-"
"I know where you come from." Willow said. "Nightshade's been expecting you."
"Nightshade?"
"Our clan's leader," Willow explained. "Aq- He said he saw a dragon headed this way earlier," she said, glancing at the two hatchlings beside her. Willow sat down, flicking her tail to Aqua and Violet. The two sisters scrambled to her side, and he heard quiet whispers as they helped fix his ankle. "There, all good," Willow said, getting to her feet. Washington slowly got up, wobbling a little bit. He winced, trying his best to avoid putting pressure on his injured foot. With Willow's help, the four dragons walked slowly to the clan's lair, where he guessed he'd have to stay a while.

Nightshade turned out to be a rather friendly mirror dragon, who welcomed him into the clan's ranks. He listened to Washington's story, and although it seemed they were alone, Washington caught sight of three sets of curious little ears poking out from behind a rock. That's alright, he thought, They'll all know my story some day.
He had no idea if he was going to continue his travels or not, but until he decided, at least he had a comfortable home.
