Biography

Before hiring the new taverneers, April would have to work at the Tavern all by himself. However, after hearing of the incidents that took place during the Bounty of Elements, he decided to assist Lavender in solving the problems that invaded allied clans. Since then, he has had problems taking care of the Tavern so he started the Taverneers. The Taverneers are one of the most important groups in the clan, well they are all important. The Taverneers run the Tavern, a place whee all the dragons can go to meet, greet, and eat. The Tavern connects right to the hoard for food where cooks, and Bar tenders use its ingredients to supply dragons who come to the clan with a nice meal.

Currently writing this, my 7th page is full of y new generation of dragons. Since most of the other dragons already have jobs, April found these teenage-like dragons wanted to make their mark on the clan. So, while April is off gathering information and helping clans in need, he has left a few dragons in charge, these include Holly, and these two twins Valen and Tine.

Valen works the day shift at the Tavern with his brother Tine. He takes over the making of all the food needed to feed the seemingly endless stomachs of all the dragons in the clan, hoping to one day get that to 200. Valen handles most food making leaving the drinks to his brother. Every morning to late afternoon, Valen makes two to three of each type of food or 8-12 different dishes. These change due to the time of his shift and what is available in the hoard. He usually serves breakfast, brunch, lunch, and sometimes mid afternoon snacks. After that, his shift ends and he goes off onto his other job, a tailor.

Along with working at the Tavern, Valen finds that making and fitting apparel is very helpful to tons of dragons. Have you ever wondered a fae and imperial can both where cowls that fit them perfectly, well it's really because of Tailors. Valen and Tine both work a Tailor Shop called the Luxurious Linens. Valen fits clothes for the largest of dragon species as well as adding some changes and accents to the clothing to fit the dragon's needs. Though it may only be open later in the day, it's actually when most business drums up. Tricksters' tricks usually end messing with people's clothing and they need a place to fix them up. Though, they helped drum up business before, doesn't mean they'll always be around. Since Bahgera's time off, business has been quite slow, everyone -including travelers- aren't paint balled or attacked by bats which means a little need to have their clothes fixed. Till Bahgera's Trickery returns, Valen may be working longer shifts at the Tavern, Don't worry you two, he'll be back.

The Tavern has a few levels to it. It is made from a large, hollowed-out oak with platforms built onto it. Guardians, Imperials, and other extremely large dragons have their own platforms lower to the ground while the smaller dragons can come inside in this Tree house like place. While Valen is behind the counter, his Alstroemeria Fox helps out by serving food to both levels of the place. All she has to do to get up and down is take the mini elevator built just for her[it's a dumbwaiter, but very efficient, cuz it's bad if it wasn't]. The fox loves greeting dragons, and getting treats from them as her tips. When the shift is over, Valen and this happy fox head over to the shop, stopping to pick up some pie to have before Tailoring. During tailoring, this fox will pick out the perfect accents and threads to mend or add onto someone's clothing. Valen has yet to disagree with something she's picked.

Valen does tend to be open to others and speak in a Southern accent like most of the other Taverneers [for some reason].
