Biography
"Good morning, Vox. Any news?"
A soft humming sound filtered into life, eyes of a tiny spiral blinking open to stare straight at the Tundra before it. The voice that came out lifted and fell, fluid but nearly monotone and much older in tone than the body that it inhabited.
"It is the seventh hour of the twentieth day, two days before the Glacial Festival. Prisoner collection to the Fortress of Ends occurred two-and-a-half hours ago, and will take place again in seven days. Little commotion. Recommendation: take care of food and needs for the next week. The plant store is low. One message."
"And what is that?"
"Reine is requesting to visit. A voice message accompanies the request. Do you wish to hear it?"
"Yes."
The voice changed into a fluid murmur, mimicking the dragon that had sent the message.
"The message is as follows: Hello, father. My group is coming to Sentinel to investigate a murderer, and it would be a great help to have a place to stay while investigating. It will only be me, Vaasa, and Bee; please send a response to the messaging constructs in Melodia, as we will be leaving Aria immediately after I send this. Hope you're doing well. End of message."
The tundra in front of the spiral hummed, sitting back and tilting his head. "Hmm."
"Any orders?"
"No, no......hm."
A pause.
"Send this message to the constructs in Melodia: You are always welcome in our home, Reine. We have had a few new additions, but you shouldn't find it too cramped; your rooms still have your things in them. Send a response back with the time you'll be here, and I can make sure we have everything ready in them. We'll be glad to have you home. End message."
"Message recorded and sent."
"Thank you, Vox. That is all for now."
"Of course. Have a good day."
The hum shut down as the spiral closed its eyes and curled back up, leaving the tundra to continue his day.
